COORDINATOR - NADIA GUNDERT

Nadia joined the staff in September 2011, she is from the Toronto area originally and received her B.A. and BEd from York University. She also completed her Canadian Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies from St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto. Nadia's experience in the classroom, as a Chaplaincy Leader, and in parish Youth Ministry has continued to develop her love for the Church and Youth. Nadia lives in Kingston with her husband, Mike, and her children, Aaron, Hailey and Ella.

MANDATE

The Office of Youth Ministry is to provide a vision of "Comprehensive Youth Ministry" to the Archdiocese in an effort to support youth ministry programs and activities in parishes.  The Youth Ministry Office is responsible for the development of a Commission to help and support youth ministry and foster communication throughout the Archdiocese.  The office will collaborate with the Archbishop, priests and laity in the formation of Youth Ministry goals and activities, and to help support all parishes to be "youth friendly."

    Steubenville Toronto High School Youth Conference - Calling all teens in Grade 8-12! Join over 1500 youth from across Ontario in attending Steubenville Toronto, an amazing high school youth conference, on July 28-30, 2017. It will be held at the UOIT Campus in Oshawa.     Catholic Summer Camp! Registration Open! VIDEO
    Youth in the Archdiocese of Kingston are invited to sign up for a week at Totus Tuus (Latin for Totally Yours) Catholic Summer Camp!  A team of dynamic, trained young adults come to a parish and facilitate a faith-based camp that includes sports, games, skits, crafts, faith instruction, mass, and music!  The day program, for children entering grades 1-6, runs Monday-Friday from 9am – 2:30pm. (ONLY $75 for the week). With an option of extended daycare (additional $25 for the week). In the evenings, the team offers an engaging program for teens in Grades 7-12 from 7–9pm. ($25 for the week). Day Campers will receive an awesome camp t-shirt "Guardians of Heaven".
